Document Imaging is the process of copying hard copy paper into an electronic format. You will be able to create redundant backup copies (on CD's) of your image data to store off site. You will be able to reproduce and reprint any important document at any time. You will be able to query and find any document quickly without wasting time searching for that misfiled piece of paper. Document Imaging is not intended to eliminate all of your paper, but it rather as a tool to reduce the amount of paper pushing.
